ICMIF launches new website and the ICMIF Knowledge Hub on 18 November 2020 - A message from ICMIF Chief Executive

Dear Member,

I am delighted to share our new website and the new ICMIF Knowledge Hub with you.

The new website contains all the information on ICMIF and our members that is publicly available including news, blogs, events and information about the team and our governance.

The new ICMIF Knowledge Hub brings together all ICMIF’s strategic business intelligence and best-practice content in one place, making the information easily accessible and searchable for ICMIF members. The Hub is exclusive to ICMIF members and is a unique source of business information for mutual, cooperative and member-owned insurers around the world. Whether you are looking for inspiration on best-practice from other ICMIF members or guidance on emerging issues and trends, whether day or night, whatever your language, the new Knowledge Hub is the ideal source.

The Knowledge Hub is organised by three thematic areas of strategic interest:

mutual difference

Leveraging the uniqueness of the mutual/cooperative value proposition in order to create a positive differentiator from market competitors.

innovation and emerging risks

Innovating to seize new business opportunities and respond to the development of technological advances, changing customer behaviours and emergence of new risks.

sustainability and social responsibility

Embedding sustainability and responsible business practices that are aligned with mutual/cooperative values and contribute to a positive impact on communities and societies.

It utilises a dynamic tagging system so users can easily navigate the wealth of exclusive content which has been carefully curated for members by the ICMIF Business Intelligence Team.

The Knowledge Hub is an ICMIF member-only resource and so it can only be accessed via a (separately distributed) private link (note that it will not be possible to access the Knowledge Hub directly from the ICMIF website). We therefore encourage all members to bookmark the Hub’s landing page when they first access it.

The exclusive Knowledge Hub content includes:

      • video presentations
      • conference sessions (in full or edited down to shorter presentations by theme)
      • webinar recordings with transcriptions
      • member case studies
      • thought-leadership articles
      • leadership interviews
      • blogs and latest news stories from our sector

The content on Knowledge Hub has been created exclusively for ICMIF members. To keep up-to-date with all our new member-only strategic content we recommend that you bookmark the Hub’s landing page for future use as new content will be added regularly. We encourage you to share this email with your colleagues who may also benefit from the Knowledge Hub.

Languages

To help our members around the globe get maximum benefit from the new website and Knowledge Hub both sites have a dropdown menu where you can choose your preferred language.

Need help?

If you would like help navigating the new Hub or would simply prefer that we search the Hub on your behalf to find information to help you meet your current challenges, please contact us. We will be happy to help.

A global network at your disposal

The strategic content that you can now find in the Knowledge Hub may not always be enough, though, so ICMIF’s team of experts is on hand to make tailored introductions to your fellow ICMIF members, based on your specific challenges and interests. Within our network, we can help you to meet non-competing, like-minded organisations who will offer their insights and share their experiences. Please contact us for help with this.

Yours in cooperation,

Shaun Tarbuck, Chief Executive, ICMIF
